Letwin's story

Letwin is a 27-year-old business woman. She is married with two children and currently lives in the Gokwe North district of Zimbabwe. She is a Camfed Learner Guide at the local secondary school where she teaches students valuable life skills.

To support herself, Letwin has been successfully operating a grocery shop for one year and has managed to employ one person. She sells margarine, drinks, sugar, cooking oil and flour. With the requested loan she intends to buy cartons of sugar, drinks, cooking oil, rice, flour and margarine. Letwin wishes to expand her business to a bigger and more reliable source of income in the next five years.

The Kiva loan will help her improve her business thus upgrade her standard of living and to take care of her two children.
