A loan of $6,675 helped a member to buy clothes.

Jehova Jireh Group's story

Consuelo is a single mother. She lives in her home built with a simple structure, like others in her community, with two of her three children in the city of La Romana in one of the rural areas that are called bateys. Most bateys are located in a sugarcane field, and were built for the sugarcane industry workers.

Consuelo says one of her most favorite things to do are to take her children to eat ice cream and to the park. And her most important challenge is to continue growing in her life and business. Since four years ago, Consuelo started her clothing sales business with the money she received when she stopped working in a company.

Consuelo is receiving her sixth loan from Esperanza Internacional, after having successfully paid back her previous loans and will invest this capital in her clothing sales business; this loan will be invested to buy new clothing (pants, shirt, skirts and other pieces). With her business profits, she will reinvest in her business. She dreams of having a nail and beauty salon in a better location. Consuelo and her group are going to devote themselves to various areas of work such as clothes, cosmetics, shoes, beauty salons, grocery stores, etc.
