Thai L., 31 years old, is married and lives with her husband and three children. Living in Kampong Cham, she is able to make around one dollar per day. She grows rice and crops on her plot of land. She said she has been planting since 1980 - before she got married. Her husband, Chhuon Soeun, 31 years old, has a business digging wells, making around US$3 per day. Thai L. is asking for a loan of US$1000 to purchase land for reselling.
