Ryskul's story

Ryskul is 55 years old, married and has children. However, all of her children are completely grown-up and live on their own, which is why only her husband is involved in her business. He helps till the land. Ryskul has a secondary education. As the main source of income for her family, she practices crop farming and livestock breeding. She started this business in 1999 with an initial purchase of cattle in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS). Thanks to Ryskul's hard work, she currently has 3 milk cows, 2 calves and 1 horse on her farm. She also has a 2.0 hectare plot of land on which she grows beans. Her monthly income is about 10,000 som (KGS). For the purpose of further developing her business, Ryskul turned to Microfinance Bank "Bai Tushum." She is requesting a loan to buy bull calves to fatten up and then sell at the market for a high price. With the remaining money she will buy fertilizer, seeds and fuel products for cultivating her land. Ryskul plans to invest the earnings from the loan in the further acquisition of livestock. She is also determined to save money to build a barn for housing her cattle.
