A loan of $375 helped purchase of clothing for children and adults.

Marcia Del Carmen's story

Marcia is 42 years old and lives in the Monseñor Lezcano neighborhood in the capital of Managua. She is married and has three children ages 16, 20 and 22. One is in high school and the others work and help with the family's expenses. Her husband works as a conductor. Marcia has been selling clothes for four years. She started the business with her own money and with the help of her husband. She takes cash and credit payments. She will use the money from this loan to purchase a variety of clothing for children and adults as this clothing sells well during this time of year. She will also use the loan proceeds to fill some orders from her clients. Her long term goals are to attract more clients, to increase her sales, and to be able to make improvements to her home so that she can enjoy a worthy home with her family and to help her son with his studies.
