Nestor Francisco's story

Nestor Francisco is married and has two children. He is from the town of Chinandega, located in the western part of the country. Nestor is described as being a hardworking, responsible man who is very eager to get ahead personally. He was unable to go to college and only finished primary school because he had to work since he was very young to help with the household expenses. Because of that, he fights day to day to offer a better future to his young children so that they can graduate from college. Nestor is a micro- businessman. He is the proprietor and manager of his own business, which is buying and selling live pigs and pork products such as chitlings, pork chops, pork loin, sausage, pork rinds, fried pork, moronga and more. He makes his purchases in the areas surrounding his town and pays for them up front. He sells and collects payment up front and on credit. He has regular and occasional customers who are merchants and butchers. He started his business with his own money from savings he had from a previous job in order to have a dignified way to get ahead with his family. The purpose of this loan is to buy a lot of live pigs and feed for the animals.
