A loan of $425 helped to buy ornaments of gold and silver.

Meyling Raquel's story

Mrs. Meyling is 31 years old, with two beautiful children that are studying. She lives in a neighborhood called Villa Liberta in the capital of Managua. Her husband works in a customs-house as a technician in a cellar. She sells ornaments of gold and silver. She also sells a lot of cosmetics because of the variety of beautiful and accessible styles. She sells these to her clients by cash or on credit, paid fortnightly. She has three years of experience in this business, which began with loans from community banks. It has been a great help for her economic well-being. She is requesting this loan so that she can buy ornaments of gold and silver, since a good season for her sales is coming. In the future, she wants to have a fixed location on a central street where she can capture more clients and offer her products. She also wants to buy her own house, because she lives with her mother now, and her desire is to have a dignified home for her family.
