A loan of $1,375 helped to buy wholesale drinks.

Rosa's story

Rosa, 40, is married and has a ten-year-old son. She lives with her husband, son and other family members in her own house.

Rosa makes a living selling energy drinks and soft drinks. She has a refrigerator and a freezer which she stocks daily from the early morning so that the drinks will be at their ideal temperature when her clients start to arrive. She sells directly to her clients, who are adults. She usually works in the afternoons. In the mornings, she has the support of her sister-in-law or her son who serve clients while she works for the laundry service of a well-known guesthouse in the city. She has had this business for more than ten years, and her profits have allowed her to obtain some material things which she always desired. She has also been able to cover her household's basic expenses in collaboration with her husband.

She has applied for a loan of 3,800 Peruvian nuevo soles. She is grateful for this opportunity and the trust which has been placed in her by receiving this financing. On the other hand, she promises to pay her installments on time. With the requested amount, she will buy more soft drinks and energy drinks to continue with her sales and increase her earnings.
