A loan of $600 helped to purchase varieties of seafood.

Martha Lorena's story

Martha Lorena is married and has four children, all of whom are independent adults. She is originally from one of the towns in Chinandega, located in the western part of the country, an area known for its beautiful beaches, tourism, and delicious donuts that are well known throughout the country.

Martha is the owner of a store that sells seafood such as exported fish (red snapper, corvina, shark fin), white fish (sea bass, shark, mackerel, barracuda, and others), and lobster. She purchases them from local fisherman and sells them to an export business, wholesale stores, and small businesses. She has 32 years of experience with this business, which she started with her own money.

One of her dreams is to be able to make improvements to her home and improve her business. She is requesting this loan to invest in working capital and take advantage of the good prices during the summer and improve her profits.
