Maria Luisa

A loan of $500 helped to buy new merchandise such as clothing, cosmetics, and materials for the jewelry that she makes by hand.

Maria Luisa's story

A group of little islands on the surface of Lake Cocibolca forms the natural and most attractive shape of the city of Granada, and so it is with the jewelry that the young woman Maria Luisa makes by hand. She is now a resident of the city of Granada. She is married and is the mother of a little daughter. She is the owner of a small business where she sells jewelry, clothing, and cosmetics. This business had its beginnings when she was a girl who sold chamomile. Then a crisis obliged her to make jewelry by hand, and it was attractive to everyone who visited her shop. Her next goals are profitability, sustainability, and continual growth for her business.

She is applying for a loan to purchase new merchandise such as clothing, cosmetics, and materials to make the jewelry that she makes by hand. She feels that the loan she has applied for will be a great help to her, since she will be able to supply all her customers who place orders with her and also invest in a new shop. Her plans for the future are to export her products to improve her living conditions and those of her baby, and in the same way, to improve her house.
