Bilqees's story

Bilqees is a 36-year-old vigorous lady; she has been stitching clothes for many years. She stitches for the people of her community and uses the income to support her entire family. However, due to lack of availability of funds, she is unable to meet with the daily demands of her customers. For this reason she requested a loan of 40,000 PKR from the Kashf Foundation. She intends to use this loan amount to buy more spools of thread in different colors, packs of laces, zippers, and buttons. These items will allow her to create a means of increasing revenues and generate a healthier source of income. She is in her 3rd loan cycle and has shown good repayment behavior.
