Laban's story

Laban is a business man living in a rural area in Kibazi which is located in Kyamuhunga -Igara county in Ishaka.

He is married and a father of one child who is not school-aged. He owns and runs a retail shop which gives him an opportunity to know his customer's needs so that he can serve them better.

In addition to the shop, he also has a coffee plantation and he sells the coffee beans. This is a way of earning additional income. He started the business in 2004 to earn income to support his family and better their standard of living. He would like to use 1,500,000 UGX to buy more stock so that his good clients can have a variety of items to choose from. This will help to win their loyalty.

Lack of capital is his major challenge but he believes it will no longer be a challenge if the loan is given. He will stock more items, make higher sales, and earn more profit which would in turn give him financial stability.
