Witogwa Group's story

NEEMA who is in her mid 30s is married with three children who are still at school. She has been running a business of selling dry food for twelve years now. She works from 06am to 06pm daily and is able to make a small monthly profit. This is her first loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. She will use this loan to buy rice, beans, cooking oil, wheat flour, ubuyu and groundnuts. She dreams that one day she will be able to build a house. Neema will share this loan with her loan group "WITOGWA" which totals five members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
