A loan helped to buy sheep and millet.

Diouma's story

This woman belongs to a finance group created on December 12, 2009, which includes very solidary members. Most are active in retail.

Diouma is 52 years old, married, and a mother of ten, including four boys. Her business is retail and sheep raising. With this loan, she plans to purchase four sheep costing 50,000 XOF each. With the remaining 150,000 XOF, she will purchase five hundred-kilo bags of millet at 20,000 XOF each, which she retails for 30,000 XOF apiece. She also purchases and resells hibiscus.

Profits allow her to increase her savings in the finance group and to provide for her children.
