Arusha Group's story

HUSNA who is in her mid 20s is married with one child who is still at school. She has been running two projects, fruits and vegetables business and selling fabrics door to door for one year now. She works from 07am to 06pm daily and is able to make a very good monthly profit. This will be HUSNA's 3rd loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to restock the out of stock items in the fruits and vegetable and increased stock of the fabrics. She is doing very well with the loan. She appreciates Kiva for supporting their group. She used the profit to pay school fees and covered house hold expenses. Husna will use this loan to buy fruits,vegetables and fabrics to resell. She dreams of owning a food vendor business. Husna will share this loan with her loan group "Arusha" which has four members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
