A loan helped a member to buy balanced animal feed.

La Esperanza Group's story

La Esperanza Communal Bank is starting its fourth loan cycle. All the women earn a living raising small animals such as chickens and pigs, as well as selling eggs and cheese. They're from an especially rural area that's still growing.

One of the women, Lorenza, said she's requesting this loan to be able to buy balanced feed so she can keep on raising animals.

She's grateful for the opportunity they're getting because it will allow them to continue working, just as they've been doing.

In this group: Lorenza, Luisa, Salvadora, Porfiria, Cristina, Maria, Cipriana, Zulma, Lucilda, Florentina, Digna, Marlene, Elena, Maria, Antonia, Farida
