Mamata Shg Group's story

These members belong to the Mamata Self-Help Group. One of them is Durmila, age 33. In the picture, the lady standing third from the right in a red saree is Durmila.

Durmila has a spouse and three children. She alternates her daily activities with a business of selling rice, grams, spices, wafers, hair oil and other household consumables. She runs a small shop where she sells all these things to support her family. She has been in this business for a good amount of time, and she does well thanks to the daily effort she puts into her business. She also sells vegetables in her shop.

She requests the loan to buy sugar, rice, edible oil, soap, detergents and other household consumables for her business. She thanks those who share her dream by this means and commits to making her payments as scheduled.

The businesses of the other group members are a butcher shop, dairy farm, and a tailoring shop.
