Silvana Ericka's story

Silvana is 28 years old and belongs to the Communal Bank “Hard Working Women of Patay” She hopes to open a grocery store in order to support her youngest children now that she has separated from her husband.

One of the most difficult things that she has had to overcome was the infidelity of her husband, and the illness of her one year old son who suffers from liver problems. She has been dedicated to renting rooms to university students for 11 months. She does this from the home she rents in the city of Huaraz.

With this loan of 500 soles, which she will repay in 4 installments, she will supply the tenants with a bag of rice, sugar, and a box of oil.
