A loan of $1,025 helped to buy cooking utensils and molds for cheeses.

Guillermo's story

Guillermo is a 20-year-old young man living in the country who makes a living by working in an independent fashion, producing and selling farmer's cheese. He gained experience in this work in order to generate resources to contribute to his household budget. He works in a company of two family members and his work hours are Monday to Sunday from 2 to 6 pm.

The loan he is requesting will be invested in buying cooking utensils and molds for cheeses. This will allow him to improve his working conditions and to increase his production, and he will thus be able to satisfy the current demand for his products and to improve his earnings.

With his desire to overcome obstacles and the enthusiasm with which he does his work, Guillermo wants to keep striving to get his business ahead, to be known throughout the entire municipality in the near future, to have a place of his own to improve the hygiene and the quality of his product, and to be able to obtain a stable profit that will provide him with the opportunity to enjoy a better quality of life.
