A loan of $900 helped to buy consumable goods such as rice, sugar, eggs, flour and more.

Cynthia's story

Cynthia is 26 years old, single and lives at her parents' house with her two sisters, who are aged 18 and 17 years old. Cynthia makes a living selling consumable goods and so has a shop in her parents' home. There she offers very friendly service to her customers, most of whom are neighbours. Cynthia has gained her customers' loyalty because of the good service that she offers.

Cynthia started her business three years ago. She works alone but, on occasions, her sisters help to serve customers. Cynthia thinks that her business is quite profitable as she sells staple goods that sell every day and have good stock turnover levels. On this occasion Cynthia is applying for a loan of 2500 Nuevo Soles. She is happy to know that she will have the financial support to progress with her business. This loan will be used to buy consumable goods such as rice, sugar, eggs, flour and more.
