Saadani Group's story

PRAXEDA,who is in her late 40s is widow with three who are still going to school. She has been running two projects, a retail shop and a grocery store for seven years now. She works from 08am to 11pm daily and is able to make a fair monthly profit. This will be Praxeda's 11th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used the previous loans to buy the missing items in the retail shop and started the grocery business. She has paid back all her loans successfully. She used the profit to buy a plot of land, paid school fees and covered house hold expenses. She is doing great with the loan and appreciates for Kiva's supporting their group. She will use this loan to buy rice, beans, sugar, maize mail, baking flour,beers, sodas, wine, juice and spirits. She dreams of building her own house. PRAXEDA will share this loan with her loan group "SAADANI" which has three members who will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
