A loan of $1,450 helped to buy supplies to make api (a corn-based beverage) and fried cheese pastries.

Nora's story

Señora Nora is 42 years old. She is married and has two children, ages 17 and 12. She sells breakfasts. She sells api (a beverage made from corn, sugar, and cinnamon) with fried cheese pastries from her sales stand, which is in her home in the Villa Adela zone. The purpose of the loan is to buy wholesale supplies such as sugar, flour, and oil to make her foods. Señora Nora is a very hard-working person. She has worked in this business for years. She is very grateful to the institution for the support offered to her, since this is the only activity with which she supports her family.
