Norma's story

Norma C. Quicana, a member of FINCA Perú in the community bank, Lila, is a single mom living in Ayacucho with her two children aged 16 and 14. To support her family Norma sells fruit at a busy market in Ayacucho. From her home, she also sells guinea pig (a traditional Ayacuchan dish) and pork.

Norma is requesting a loan to purchase more products to sell including more pork, guinea pigs, bananas, oranges, mandarins and apples. She dreams of being able to pay for her wedding and to purchase a store in Ayacucho where she will be able to sell her products.
