Lydia Wanjiru's story

Lydia is 31 years old and is from Olkalou. She is married to Johann and they are blessed with three children aged 12, 7 years and an eight months old. She is a farmer, a business she has been running for the last five years. To enable her buy herbicides and pesticides to use on her potato crop, she has applied for her first loan of KES. 20,000 from VisionFund Kenya. Lydia's monthly income right now is KES. 15,000 and her intention is to use the anticipated profits from her expanded business to educate her children and to pay her loan back to VisionFund Kenya. She hopes to be a successful farmer in the future.
