A loan of $625 helped to process more mobile phone credit sales on the weekends.

Nenny's story

Nenny lives north of Bogor, about two hours from Jakarta. She manages a small shop selling snacks, drinks and mobile phone airtime credit. Nenny is married and lives with three persons in the family home.

Nenny joined Ruma two months ago because she was interested in selling mobile phone airtime credit. With assistance and support from Ruma’s staff, Nenny sees improvements in her shop. For the last two months, she has earned an average of $13 - $14 per day in mobile phone airtime credit sales.

She hopes to get a Kiva loan as working capital to process more transactions on the weekends. Her goal for her business is to expand and have more new business in the future.
