Al- Ahd Al- Jadid Group's story

Al- Ahd Al- Jadid is a group consisting of four women from Sana'a, Yemen. They applied for a loan of 180,000 YER from AMB.

Iman is the leader of the group. She is a 29-year-old, single woman, living with her family in one house. She is a university graduate, and now she is an employee in the private sector. She uses her salary to cover the family’s expenses. Her father works as an officer in the army. Unfortunately, they live in very old house. The father wants to renovate the house. The renovation of the house costs a lot of money and his salary is not enough. For this reason, Iman applied for a loan of 50,000 YER from AMB in order to renovate the house and purchase building materials such as bricks, cement, windows, and doors. Iman looks forward to building more apartments and renting them in order to provide her family with a better future.
