Salma's story

Salma baji is a wife of H. A.. She lives in a small area named Yadgar in the city Lahore, Pakistan. She owns a two room brick house and has been living in it for the last 20 years. She is the mother of three children: two daughters and one son. All of her children are enrolled in a local school in her neighborhood.

Salma baji's husband is an employee in the post office. Salma baji has a business making decoratively embroidered dresses. She has been in this profession for the last 12 years.

She successfully repaid her first loan from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). Now she is applying for a loan to buy more material such as clothes, colored thread and sketches so she can expand her business.
