A loan helped to raise more ducks.

Yong's story

Yong O., 40, is married and lives with her three children in Phnom Penh. She is a chef in a restaurant, making around US$6 each day. Her husband has a business of raising ducks for eggs, and normally he sells the eggs to the market and can generate about US$4 of income each day. Inflation has driven up prices all across Cambodia and many Cambodians have faced economic struggles. Yong O. has approached CREDIT for a loan to purchase more ducks for her husband to breed. She feels that this will be a sustainable investment that will keep profits high and generate more income for her family. (Husband is pictured with the ducks.)
