Turibamwe Group's story

Turibamwe is a group of clients working in the province of Cibitoke. Clients Joseph (in a red T-shirt in the photo) and J. Paul (just to the right of Joseph) have been excluded from the group since the photo was taken. Christophe is the group's representative. He is 42 years old and married to Jeanne, a farmer. Together they have seven children, from 3 to 15 years old, of whom five are students.

Christophe has been doing commerce in clothing for fifteen years. He is on his second Turame loan. With the Kiva loan he is obtaining, he is going to increase his capital and purchase a large quantity of clothing to resell, so as to earn more.

In the coming year, he would like to build a nice house, purchase a bicycle, and see his children educated.

In this group: Christophe, Florence, Jacqueline, Jacques, Isidonie, Aoron, Jeanine, Candide, Joséphine, Emelyne, Jacqueline, Espérance, J. Marie, Canesius, François, Alice, Aisha, Charlotte, J. Claude, Jonathan, Sylvere, Daniel, Thacienne, Léonard, Jeanne, Suzanne, Philippe, Christian, Suavis, Christine, Consolate
