Concepcion Del Rosario's story

Concepción M. is 34 years old, married, and has four children who are 10, 9, 6 and 3 years old respectively. All are in primary grades in public school, and her husband is self-employed selling plastic products to support the household. Her goal is to continue working in her small general store, and her wish is to improve their standard of living while at the same time seeing growth in her business. Her dream is to see her children become successful professionals, and her greatest desire is to give them a better living environment given that the infrastructure of her home is in bad shape. Concepción’s business is a small general store where she offers household products, having installed the business in her own home. She also sells plastic products, and has been in business for ten years having started as an alternative to being unemployed and as a way to help support the family. With the loan, she intends to invest more into her store with the goal of attaining a stable inventory and satisfy her customer demand.
