Merveille A Group's story

Cecile, age 45, is a brave merchant and member of the business group “Merveille A”. She is an experienced and enthusiastic entrepreneur, and the married mother of 5 children who all go to school. Her husband is a driver.

Cecile sells drinks. She displays her stock at a warehouse in the commercial sector of the city. She started her business with capital from savings on her income. She later turned to the Hekima MFI for financial assistance. She has been practicing this activity for 4 years.

Cecile will use this new loan to buy 30 cases of Fanta, 50 cases of Primus beer, 10 cases of Miitzig beer, etc. Her goals are to build a house and to look after her children’s needs with respect to food and education.

Cecile wishes to thank the Hekima MFI for helping small entrepreneurs to become self-sufficient who cannot use the traditional banking system, especially in these difficult times following the war in the Eastern region.
