Jenlu's house is located in one of the main lanes in the village. The grocery shop is located facing the lane and farmers in the morning usually drops in at the shop to purchase local cigarettes (biri), betel nut and betel leaves to take with them to the field. She also sells essential and everyday household goods like cereals, rice, edible oils, detergent soap, detergent powder, dish wash, shampoo etc. While her husband is engaged in the field, she stays at home and manages the shop at the same time does her household chores. She has plans to expand the shop and make a living. Cultivation will be difficult for both the husband and wife as they age and therefore, she is keen to make the shop as successful as it can be.
