A loan of $550 helped to buy a solar home system to install on top of the roof of his house.

Uong's story

Uong, together with his wife, manages their own farm, on which he grows rice for personal use and for sale. He has been cultivating rice for almost 15 years now. From this current business, he is able to earn well for the family. His income allows him to pay for daily food and other costs of commodities. He has two children who rely on his income and are attending local schools. The education of his children is his priority.

This will be his first loan which he will use to buy a solar home system to install on top of the roof of his house, which is located in the off-grid area of the province. After being with Hattha Kaksekar Limited, he can gain access to micro-finance services and solar energy, which he will use to support household appliances such as light, TV and radio, so everyone in his family can even work or study at night. He expresses his thanks to all lenders in advance.
