Comfort's story

Comfort Kraasibea is 49 years old, divorced and a mother with two children. Her children are grown and currently working. Comfort sells frozen foods in the local market to support her business growth. With her six years' experience, she says demand for fish is high but she does not meet the capital requirement to meet such demands. She wants to use the loan to buy more cartons of frozen foods to enable her raised enough income to expand her business operation as she is recognized as the number one cold store operator in her community. She is a member of the group called "Biako Ye". Members agree to guarantee for each other as social collateral to repay the loan. Her picture was captured at her business premises.
