A loan of $1,000 helped to replace her shop's floor and acquire a large number of supplies, such as fabrics, gemstones and thread.

Ángela María's story

Ángela, a single woman of 52, has two adult children. She studied pattern and design 20 years ago and then endeavored to work from home as she cared for her young children. Ángela started in the sewers' guild and little by little acquired her machines and gained work as she made headway for her family. Her dream is to improve her shop and make repairs, which is why she is requesting the loan. She plans to replace her shop's floor to give it a better appearance and make it more comfortable to receive customers since she is on a good trajectory and makes a wide variety of clothes with imported fabrics for parties and weddings. She also plans to purchase a large number of supplies such as fabrics, gemstones, thread and bands. This will give her greater assurance that her income will keep growing and she can enjoy the life she deserves along with her family.
