A loan of $975 helped to repair her motorcycle.

Fátima Leonor's story

Fatima Leonor is 46 years old, married, and the mother of four children; two are school aged.

She lives in El Sauce, where she was born and raised and works as an elementary school teacher at a school located seven miles away. She’s been working there for more than 10 years.

Fatima is a hardworking woman who has strived in her work and for having a home of her own, even though it has cost a lot because of the adversities she has had to deal with, being from Nicaragua where the salaries are barely enough to pay for food.

She has been with CEPRODEL for many years and has had several loans with Kiva funds and she is grateful for this support because she has improved her living conditions and now has a better quality of life with her family.

Fatima is asking for Kiva assistance to buy repair parts for her motorcycle, which is her principle means of transport to work. She lives far from the city. It’s currently at the mechanics shop and in need of repair. She trusts in God that she will continue to get support so she can come out ahead.
