Hong S., 54, is married with four children living at home in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She weaves silk dresses, typically making US$2 each day and her husband is a rice farmer. Her husband, Liv Nhan, 61, typically makes about US$2.50 each day. Two of their children also weave silk dresses. Hong S. would like a loan of US$500 to purchase a motorbike and also to purchase rice seed and fertilizers for her husband. This loan would allow their family to increase their profits.
