A loan of $1,050 helped to process more mobile phone credit sales on the weekends.

Munah's story

Munah runs a small stall where she sells mobile phone airtime credits. She lives in Lebak, a semi-urban area about three hours from Jakarta. Munah is married and lives with four persons in the family home.

Munah began working with Ruma six months ago because she was interested in selling mobile airtime. She feels really excited to expand her business in selling mobile phone airtime credits. For the last three months, she has had around $31 – $32 per day in sales on average (just mobile phone airtime credit sales).

As the business continues to run, she hopes to get a Kiva loan as working capital in order to do more transactions on weekends.
