Egness's story

25-year-old Egness is a young entrepreneur residing in the Chiredzi District of Zimbabwe. Egness is an enthusiastic volunteer in her community who helps mentor young women in entrepreneurship. She is currently operating her own business at a local flea market where she sells shirts, pins, towels, shorts, lady’s tops, and shoes. The business has improved her life considerably and she would love to build upon her success.

With this Kiva loan, Egness plans to grow the size and range of merchandise to expand her business and increase profits. She hopes to open her own shop and use the additional income to continue improving her standard of living.
