A loan helped to purchase more phone chargers, mobile phones, and phone batteries.

Amadu M's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 31-year-old Amadu from Waterloo, a western, rural area in Freetown. He is married, with three children between the ages of 11 months and 10 years. One of his children is attending school. Amadu is a shopkeeper. He started his business to change his standard of living.

Amadu sells phone accessories within a busy market area. He has been running this business for 15 years. He works at the business from 7:00am until 6:00pm, six days per week. Amadu says that the main challenge to his business is transporting his goods from town to Waterloo, which is very difficult.

Amadu has requested a loan in order to purchase more phone chargers, mobile phones, and phone batteries. The extra income from this loan will allow him to open a savings account and take care of his family's welfare.

In the future, Amadu plans to become a wholesaler. He thanks you for your support!
