Having been in this business for 13 years, she can earn about 13,000 KHR per day to make a living and can save about 5,000 KHR each day for the future needs.

Sokhorn’s group consists of two members who live in the same village and she is the first cycled client with VisionFund. Now leading her group to apply for a loan, Sokhorn, who is the leader, will use her portion to buy construction supplies to support her business. She hopes to make more income from her current business.

VisionFund Cambodia is a Christian organization and microfinance institution that provides small loans and other financial services to improve the lives of children, empower poor women and their families, and grow successful businesses. The organization works primarily in rural parts of Cambodia and has distinguished itself by targeting the very poor who require smaller loan sizes, regardless of religious beliefs, gender or ethnic background.
