Barhakomera is a member of the 'banc villageois', Yesu ni jibu. She is 36 years old and married to a man who is currently out of work. Together they have five children who all attend school. Barhakomera has been a business woman since 2004, she sells kitchen utensils and saucepans on the street. Barhakomera will use this new loan to buy a dozen saucepans. She hopes to be able to buy a plot of land for her children. She is grateful to the field partner, Hekima, for the support that they offer to women on very low incomes.
