Sarrah

A loan of $300 helped to purchase more onions, cooking oil and Maggie cubes to expand her business.

Sarrah's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 39-year-old Sarrah from Kandeh town, Bo, Southern area. She is married with five children. Four of her children are currently attending school. Sarrah runs a food stand business, selling onions, cooking oil and Maggie cubes for resale. She has been running this business for five years. She works at the business from 9am until 4pm, six days per week. Sarrah says that the main challenge to her business is the poor road network within her operation area.

Sarrah has requested a loan in order to purchase more onions, cooking oil and Maggie cubes to expand her business. The extra income from this loan will allow her to educate her children and repay her loan. In the future, she plans to open a big food store. She thanks you for your support!
