A loan of $1,125 helped to buy seeds for cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers, as well as fertilizer.

Ainura's story

Ainura is a 30-year-old married woman with a son. She has a high school education. Ten years ago she started farming and raising cattle with 15,000 KGS to support her family.

Due to her hard work, she now has two dairy cows, five sheep and two calves, and a plot of land on which she annually grows peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes for their own use as well as to sell. Her total monthly income is 10,000KGS. To grow her income Ainura has applied for a loan from micro-finance bank, Bai-Tushum, to buy high-quality pepper, cucumber and tomato seeds to sow, as well as fertilizer.

Ainura will get a good harvest, which will increase her family's capital. She plans to use the extra income to increase her domestic herd and save enough money to buy furniture.
