Sonunbu's story

Sonunbu is 62 years old, and married with four children. She has a high school education and raises livestock as the family's main income. She started this business 14 years ago by buying cattle for 6,000KGS.

Due to her hard work, she now has four dairy cows, two horses and 18 sheep. Her monthly income is 10,000 KGS. She has applied for a loan from micro-finance bank, Bai-Tushum, to buy cattle for breeding. She plans to use the income from the loan to invest in increasing her domestic herd and to save to buy a new refrigerator.
