Kuma's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 38-year-old Kuma from Kandeh town, Southern area in Sierra Leone. She is married with five children. Four of her children currently attend school. Kuma runs a food stand business. She sells onions, cooking oil and maggi for resale. She has been running this business for some years. She works at the business from 9:00am until 4:00pm, 6 days per week. Kuma says that the main challenge to her business is poor road networks within her operation area. Kuma has requested a loan in order to purchase more onions, cooking oil and maggi to expand her business. The extra income from this loan will allow her to educate her children and repay her loan. In the future, she plans to open a big food store. She thanks you for your support!
