Emmanuel is a Ugandan married man, aged 27 years, and he lives in Kagadi where he has been operating a wholesale and retail shop, farming and selling produce to earn a living. He ventured into business so as to have several sources of income to support his family. He hopes to educate his children despite the challenges of price fluctuations of agricultural products and unpredictable weather changes. Emmanuel is requesting a loan to buy sugar, maize, cooking oil and sodas.

This loan is part of HOFOKAM's program targeting poor and geographically excluded populations in Western Uganda. In addition to loans, it provides social and business training programs to low-income entrepreneurs and their communities.
