Jairo Isaac's story

Jairo is 26 years old. He is very responsible, respectful, and hardworking. He was raised by his mother, who sells fruits and vegetables.

He finished his studies through high school and has worked selling fruits and vegetables since he was 15 years old, and this is now his main source of income. He gets up at 5:00 in the morning and goes with his mother’s car to a city where he buys the fruits and vegetables that will later be distributed in the market and small towns of his municipality.

He goes 3 times per week to buy new fruits and vegetables and in this way he earns an honorable living. His sister helps him with his business on the weekends because she studies during the other days of the week.

The money will be used to repair and improve the vehicle, because it urgently needs to have the clutch and brakes changed. Another part of the money will be used to buy fruits and vegetables. In this way he will expand and stock his business and earn a better income and provide better service to his customers.

His plans for the future are pay the loan and to then get another in order to buy a newer vehicle that will serve him as transportation to buy and distribute fruits and vegetables in the small towns of his municipality. He wants to be independent and have his own house, a wife, and children, and to always sell fruits and vegetables.
