A loan of $1,450 helped to buy educational materials.

Sheila Mercedes's story

Sheila is 24 years old. She is now studying agronomic engineering at the University of San Pedro. Her course of study takes five years, and she is in the next-to-last year.

She is doing her pre-professional practice at the same university. She spends 30 hours a week on her studies, and she feels very satisfied and at the same time enthusiastic from being able to be successful. One of her most desired dreams is to become a professional.

Her greatest wish is to be able to finish her studies satisfactorily. For this reason she has a great will to overcome any obstacle that is presented to her. The loan that she is applying for will be used to completely pay for the eighth and ninth semesters of her course and for any educational materials, and thus she can feel more at ease.

Her goal for the future is to be able to finish her studies and begin to work and to help farmers. She aspires to export to other countries once she has her own business.

At the same time she expresses her appreciation since she feels grateful for the loan that is offered to her, and she encourages [the lenders] to continue supporting the people who most need it.
