A loan of $850 helped to buy cereals for resale.

Issouf's story

Mr. Issouf was born in the late 60s in Gningoni, a Sikasso circle. Married with five children, he lives in a traditional family with his wife, in his own home. They reside in Kadiolo, another circle of SIKASSO, 3rd administrative region of the Republic of MALI.

Mr. Issouf has been buying and selling cereals for over six years. He buys his stock in Kadiolo and surrounding villages.

He is partnering with the Soro Yiriwaso microfinance institution for the 9th time to better meet the needs of a growing customer base. Past loans were correctly repaid.

This loan will allow him to buy 40 sacks of cereals at 100 kg each. He will store his stock for a while in his home facility prior to resale in Kadiolo to a clientele consisting of both men and women, for cash and on credit.

He expects to earn an average monthly profit of 80,000 francs CFA. This will allow him to repay the loan and interest, and the remainder will be invested in his activity.
